SOUTH BEAVER TOWNSHIP

 The South Beaver Township Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1947, and is located approximately 35 miles North West of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  We protect approximately 2,974 residents (according to the 2000 census) with a coverage area of 30.1 square miles, and an ISO rating of 5. 

We operate out of two stations, utilizing (2) engines, (1) tanker, (2) brush / wildland units and, (1) QRS vehicle. We are an all volunteer department with 35 active members’ that provide fire and EMS protection services for our area residents and visitor’s.
