In 2009 the department purchased the
old Elementary School located on State Route 168, with plans on renovating it into
the new Fire Station. That same year we were able to pay off the property and
begin restoring the building.
Members
have been busy with demolition;
ground and building clean up, installation of windows and doors, and the
erection of the new apparatus bay, upgrading the electric and heating to the
facility.
With the continued
support from our
local businesses, fundraisers, and grants, we believe we are building a great addition
to our community.

Tax
dollars!
